The "best " affiliate marketing programs need to be ones that are not "popular ". Not because the popular ones are no good, but because the web presence they afford is becoming saturated by the top salesmen of these programs. If you get your affiliate link from another salesman and give it to a potential buyer, even though they have received your affiliate link, the upline's "cookie " (or coinciding ad) goes into the computer of the contact and captures all of the real attention, greatly increasing his chances of making a sale or contact and almost completely diminishing yours. I have a small but growing list of the best affiliate programs I have come across, its only about 12 right now, but each of them has performed well for me, they dont go on my list unless I collected at least one check
