Question: Affiliate program is scam?

Do you know any affiliate program? I found some but I want to make sure if affiliate program isn't scam before I get scam by affiliate program.

How would you get scammed - I made money 10 yrs ago in multiple affiliate programs, when the internet was 1/ 500th teh size it is now, but not enough to even cover my website costs - I doubt anyone makes money anymore - you would have to get people to come to YOUR website and then convince them to click on that affiliate link and make a purchase there before you make any money either no one has ever heard of the affiliate company or everyone knows how to find it without your website, it takes eons to build up traffic to a new website - if ever - you need content to draw people to teh website in the first place so unless it's some new amazing product which is already being advertised nationwide (and therefore, again they don;t need your webiste to find it), you probably won;t amke any money

Most are real, it is ultimately a matter of trust that the product seller will pay their affiliates, most do pay their affiliates, using automated tracking systems that exactly calculate the affiliate fees due. There's probably some shaving of payouts, and I hear of ocassions where affiliates getting cut out by phone order or certain return-refund-reorder events. This affiliate thing has gotten quite competitive, people who put in a big effort without getting any sales probably start wondering if it's fixed. A couple of areas more deserving a degree of paranoia are ppc advertising click fraud robbing affiliates of their money (see the pay to click discussions in these pages) and Google's designs to eliminate affiliate marketers, who they view as unnecessary street hustlers.
